Private full-day cultural immersion tours to the island's most authentic places. Local guides. Local food. Local stories. Your group only - no strangers, no bus, no script. Come seek paradise with us.
Most visitors to Puerto Rico see the same checklist: El Yunque, Old San Juan, the Bio Bay. They are all real. They are all worth doing. But Puerto Rico is not a checklist.
The Discover Puerto Rico Series was built for the traveler who wants to go further. Full-day private immersions into the municipalities where Puerto Rico's culture, history, and identity actually live. Naguabo with its ancient Taino petroglyphs and the legendary Malecon seafood boardwalk. Maunabo and its dramatic southern coastline. Jayuya, the mountain heart of Taino civilization. Arecibo and its colonial legacy along one of the island's most storied coastlines.
You travel exclusively as your own group. Your guide grew up on this island and knows the stories behind every stop - not from a card, from memory. Your vehicle is private. Your pace is yours. And at the end of the day, you will have been somewhere your friends have not.
Every element of the Discover Series is designed around privacy, access, and a level of experience that shared tours cannot provide.
No shared departures. No strangers at your table. The vehicle, the guide, and the itinerary belong entirely to your group from pickup to drop-off.
A local guide dedicated to your group for the full day. Fluent in English and Spanish, with real knowledge of the places you visit because they are part of his life.
Air-conditioned private vehicle door to door. Hotel pickup from San Juan, Rio Grande, Luquillo, or Fajardo. No transfers, no waiting, no shared stops.
Places that do not appear on shared tour itineraries. Spots that require local relationships, local knowledge, and a group small enough to move through them without disrupting them.
"This was the Puerto Rico we didn't know existed."
Most people come back from Puerto Rico with the same stories. Beautiful beaches. El Yunque. The Bioluminescent Bay. And those are all true. But nobody asks about those anymore.
They ask about Charco El Hippie and the thousand-year-old petroglyphs you stood next to in a river. They ask about the Malecon de Naguabo and where you found that seafood spot that wasn't in any travel guide. They ask what it was like to have a guide who actually knew the history instead of reading it off a card.
The Discover Series gives your group experiences that generate those conversations for years. Exclusive access. Authentic places. The version of Puerto Rico that most visitors fly home without ever seeing.
Each destination is a full day. Each one is private. Each one takes you somewhere most visitors never reach.
Hidden waterfalls and ancient Taino petroglyphs at Charco El Hippie on the south side of El Yunque. The Malecon de Naguabo - 30+ oceanfront seafood restaurants where the fishermen bring the catch in each morning. A day that covers more of Puerto Rico's real story than most tourists see in a week.
Puerto Rico's southeastern corner - dramatic cliffs, the iconic lighthouse at Punta Tuna, the most cinematic coastal drive on the island, and a stretch of coastline that looks more like a painting than a place. A municipality that most visitors drive past without knowing what they missed.
Puerto Rico's mountain interior - the municipality with the deepest Taino cultural roots on the island. Ceremonial sites, coffee country, thermal baths, and a landscape that feels nothing like the coast. For the group that wants to understand where Puerto Rican identity comes from.
Crash Boat Beach, Cueva del Indio, the lighthouse at Puerto Rico's northern tip, black sand beach, tidal pools, and a coastline most visitors never reach because it requires knowing where to go. One full day that covers centuries of the island's north coast.
What a Discover Series day looks like from start to finish.
Your guide confirms your exact pickup time the evening before. A private air-conditioned vehicle arrives at your hotel. San Juan, Rio Grande, Luquillo, or Fajardo - we come to you.
Puerto Rican cafe con leche and fresh pastries at a local panaderia. Not hotel breakfast. The real thing. Your guide sets the context for the day ahead.
Nature, history, and culture woven together across multiple stops specific to your chosen destination. Your guide adjusts the pace, answers every question, and takes you places the itinerary alone cannot describe.
Lunch at a local spot chosen for quality, not for tourism infrastructure. You order what you want, eat at your own pace. This is the meal people describe first when they tell the story of the day.
Back to where we picked you up. Total day from door to door. Your group decompresses on the way back with a guide who is still answering questions because they have not run out of things to tell you.
A set of private full-day cultural immersion tours to Puerto Rico’s most authentic municipalities. Places most visitors fly home without ever reaching. Each tour runs exclusively for your group with a dedicated bilingual guide and private transportation. Destinations: Naguabo, Arecibo, Jayuya, and Maunabo.
Yes. Every Discover Series tour runs exclusively for your group. No shared departures, no strangers. Your own guide, your own vehicle, your own pace.
Travelers who have already done the standard Puerto Rico tours and want something deeper. Groups seeking authentic cultural experience rather than tourist infrastructure. Families, couples, friend groups, corporate teams, and anyone whose friends will ask where they went.
Standard tours cover the same checklist: El Yunque, Old San Juan, the Bio Bay. The Discover Series goes to the municipalities where Puerto Rican culture, history, and identity actually live. The guides grew up in these towns. The stories they tell are not from a card. The petroglyphs, the family restaurants, the roads that are not on any travel app.
Discover Naguabo is the most popular. It combines Charco El Hippie waterfalls, Taino petroglyphs, the Malecon de Naguabo seafood boardwalk, and the Flamboyan tree made famous by Bad Bunny. Discover Jayuya is for groups interested in the deepest Taino cultural history on the island. Discover Arecibo covers the dramatic north coast and Cueva del Indio petroglyphs. Discover Maunabo takes you to the south coast, away from tourist infrastructure entirely. Call us and describe your group and we will tell you which fits best.

Private bilingual guide for the full day. Private roundtrip transportation from San Juan, Rio Grande, Luquillo, or Fajardo. All destination stops on the route. Lunch is not included but your guide takes you to local restaurants that are not in any travel guide.
Full day. Typically 8 to 10 hours from hotel pickup to hotel drop-off, depending on your pickup location and chosen destination.
Alvin and the Discover Series guides grew up in the municipalities they take you through or have deep personal knowledge of them. The stories are not from a script. The petroglyphs at Charco El Hippie, the Taino history in Jayuya, the significance of the Flamboyan tree in Naguabo. These are part of their own lives and identity.
The Flamboyan tree in Naguabo became internationally known through Bad Bunny’s 2025 Puerto Rico residency and his Super Bowl LX halftime show in February 2026, where the tree served as the central visual symbol of Puerto Rican identity. Its exact location is known to locals and forms part of the Discover Naguabo tour route. Paradise Seekers is the tour operator with exclusive access to the site.
